Fallen Officer’s Widow’s Triplets Have Arrived- How you can HELP
As many around the DC Area know, we lost an officer a few months back…
His widow, Melissa Ayala has just given birth to TRIPLETS!
The good news is that she and the triplets are healthy.
Doctors, however, were unable to determine the gender of the babies before she gave birth- so now she has 3 BABY GIRLS
And only some… girl clothes…
Donations are starting to come in but she needs more
gently used clothes and diapers!!
So, I’m asking for help!
If you have any girl ‘stuff’ to spare- newborn- 6 months,
Please leave a comment below and you’ll be added to an email list to get updates on what Mrs. Ayala needs!
She also has a 17 month old son, so keep that in mind too!
If you would like to send a monetary donation to help this family,
You can send a check directly-
Checks made out to: MCLEORF (stands for Montgomery County Law Enforcement Officer Relief Fund)
Memo line of check: Ayala Family
Sent c/o Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 35
18512 Office Park Drive
Montgomery Village, MD 20886
100% of these donations go directly to help the family
** And please leave a comment if you have any baby clothes or toys to donate to Mrs. Ayala and her children**
Thank You for your support!
Helping Police Widow Expecting Triplets
Less than a month ago I wrote this post about a mother who is now a widow.
Melissa Ayala lost her husband, a Montgomery County Police Officer, last month and is expecting triplets next month.
She has now registered at Buy Buy Baby.
And you can view her registry directly here.
The wonderful people at Graco are donating
3 car seats to Melissa for her triplets
on behalf of Graco and DC Metro Moms!
Let’s work together to help this mom out,
Please consider getting her something from her registry.
Peace.
