DC Area: Check Out A GREAT Holiday Bazaar This Weekend
It’s beginning to look a lot like… !!
Well, right now it’s been raining for 2 days so it doesn’t look like a lot of anything outside my window.
BUT- THIS WEEKEND is a different story!
My FAVORITE Holiday Bazaar is on Saturday. It’s the St. Jane de Chantal Holiday Bazaar from 9-6!
This is the Mac-Daddy of all holiday Bazaars, and I kinda consider myself an expert…
I love holiday bazaars and have gone to many.
Note: My son goes to school here; that being said, this holiday bazaar is just ‘known’ for being great.
They start lining up vendors in JULY!
So here’s the info- Great shopping, great parking, food, chances to win decorated Christmas trees..
WHAT’S NOT TO LOVE?!
Check it out- I start my Christmas shopping here every year and always find great, unique stuff!

This Holiday Bazaar features over thirty independent vendors selling unique, quality merchandise including original art, personalized items, jewelry, stationery, glass, children’s clothes and much more.
New this year, our Bazaar will feature sihlouette artist Anne Leslie, who will be available to create timeless, handmade portraits. We are also pleased to announce the return of American Plant.

I’ll see you there!
Do You Remember ‘Calling Time’ ?
Do You Remember when you had to call a phone number to get the ‘exact time’ ?!
Wow, what a long way we have come. Now, you an get the exact time on your phone, your TV, your computer screen… your car!
*It took me a few tries to even find this picture of an ‘old telephone’… with a cord!*
Funny!

Health Tip: Don’t Use Cash!
Here’s a practical Health Tip:
Don’t Use Cash.
It is much more sanitary and cuts down on the spread of germs.
Think of how many people handle a dollar bill or coin…
Instead, use the technology that is available almost everywhere now.
Take out your credit card or debit card and simply swipe it, it hasn’t touched anybody else,
and then place it back in your wallet.
You haven’t touched anybody, and we all keep whatever germs we have, to ourselves.
And keep using that hand sanitizer:
Keep 1 in your purse and 1 in the car!
Happy Health!
The H1N1 Flu Has Left the Building… and our House
We’ve all had it here, and we’ve come out the other end. No one wants to hear gory details, so here is my brief advice:
* If your child runs even a slight fever, take them to the doctor*
My son ran a slight fever, I took him to the doctor, we got Tamiflu, he felt better in hours.
