<p>But yesterday was a new &#8216;You&#8217;ve got to be kidding me&#8217; moment:</p>
<p>My son opened the fridge and saw black olives, &#8220;Mom, can I have a bowl of black olives for a snack?&#8221;</p>
<p>Ummm, okay.  So I gave him a small bowl of olives, and he ate all of them.  Then, <em>as only a mother can do</em>, I started thinking, &#8216;Are a lot of olives really good for a kid?  Will it make his stomach upset?&#8217;  </p>
<p><strong>Stop it mom, he&#8217;s fine. A few olives never hurt anybody.</strong></p>
