I was moderately popular in high school and I’m averagely smart (not even sure that’s a word- perhaps I’m not even averagely smart) and my husband and I are moderately successful. Our motto is “Be average!” (and fly under the radar – it’s great down here!)

Of course that only works for us – I will surely expect both my children to do better than us- isn’t that the way it’s supposed to be anyway?

Oh, definitely no concern here as to whether or not our kids will end up nerdy. As you say, we lead by example. Big. Time.

Dude, you’re funny. My kids also have no choice. They’ll be nerds because my husband and I are.

Yes, but nerds have trouble getting dates, so our breed will probably die off.
