Also, this year, that is the first night of Hanukkah. He’s only going to be turning ONE, so we aren’t making a big deal of either holiday this year but we are getting him a host of new big-boy toys.

I haven’t seen any tree lots open yet so I don’t know where you would get a tree — must be a family trip out to the FOOTHILLS of the PIEDMONT RANGE of the Blue Ridge Mountains Chevy-Chase-National-Lampoons-Christmas-
Vacation-Style.

I still have two uncarved pumpkins on my front step. You think it’s time to take them in? If I cut them open, are the seeds still good to roast?
